FINDLAY — Despite a strong effort from sophomore Davinee Harris, the Findlay Trojans came up short in a 3-1 loss to Tiffin Columbian in nonconference volleyball action Thursday night.
Harris led the Trojans with several key kills, helping to spark momentum swings in the middle sets. Freshman Maggie Crates also contributed during a 5-1 Findlay run, cutting into the Tornadoes’ lead.
Tiffin Columbian, however, proved too consistent at the net and held off multiple Findlay rallies.
The Tornadoes took the match in four sets to secure the road victory, dropping Findlay’s overall record as the Trojans continue through the second half of their schedule.
