HARROD, Ohio (WLIO) — It was a defensive battle Friday night as Allen East hosted Fort Recovery.

At the half, the Indians led 23–7. But the Mustangs quickly cut into the lead on the opening drive of the third quarter.

Allen East’s defense came up big with a pick-six, though the two-point conversion failed, leaving Fort Recovery ahead 23–13.

Later in the quarter, the Mustangs’ offense stalled, and Fort Recovery’s Travis Stanley added a field goal to push the lead back to 26–13.Allen East continued to battle, but the Indians’ defense held firm the rest of the way.Fort Recovery held on for a 23–16 win to improve to 2–0 on the season.
