TOLEDO WOODWARD — Lima Senior continued its strong start to conference play with a dominant road win over the Polar Bears, staying unbeaten in league action.
The Spartans entered the night already perfect against Woodward since joining the Toledo City League and extended that streak again, doing so without Shawn Foster. Even with the absence, Lima Senior showcased its depth as every Spartan saw playing time.
Northern Kentucky commit Willie Foster set the tone early, throwing down a two-handed dunk before knocking down a catch-and-shoot three. Lima Senior carried the momentum into halftime with a comfortable lead.
In the third quarter, the Spartans pushed the pace. Noah Simpson found Jeff Williams leaking out for an easy layup, then Williams returned the favor by breaking down the defense and dropping off a pass to Dashad Greer for the finish. Greer added an offensive rebound and putback as Lima Senior continued to roll.
The scoring surge continued into the fourth quarter, capped by a stepback jumper from Aazaad Burton as the Spartans pulled away for good.
Lima Senior stayed perfect in conference play with an 86-24 win at Woodward.
