LIMA — Start pulled away for a 61-17 win over Lima Senior in a Toledo City League matchup at Lima Gymnasium.

In the third quarter, Lima Senior sophomore Daniyah Denson bullied her way to the basket for a score as the home Spartans tried to climb back into the game. Later, Michaela Bean grabbed an offensive rebound in traffic and fed Jaislynn Ingram, who finished on the glass for two more points.

Start controlled much of the contest and handed Lima Senior the 61-17 loss.
