BLUFFTON, OH (WLIO) - Miller City extended its unbeaten streak to 10-0 with a 66-36 road victory over Bluffton at Bluffton High School.
The Wildcats jumped on the board early when Kiera Ruhe finished an easy layup in transition off a loose-ball turnover.
Bluffton responded quickly, as Macy Schaadt secured an offensive rebound, converted the basket, and went 1-for-2 at the free-throw line, scoring 2 of her team-high 11 points.
Miller City’s Kayla Erford answered with a drive through traffic for a basket, keeping the game competitive in the opening minutes.
Bluffton had a moment of momentum when Gracie Warren intercepted a pass and converted it into points, but the Wildcats began to take control.
Elizabeth Erford pushed the pace downcourt and found Anna Lammers, who added 2 of her 12 points to help Miller City pull away.
The Wildcats dominated the second quarter and maintained their lead throughout the second half, preserving their undefeated record with a 66-36 win over Bluffton.
