OTTAWA, Ohio (WLIO) — The second-ranked team in Division III kept its momentum rolling on Friday night, as Wapakoneta extended its Western Buckeye League winning streak to 20 games with a 42-14 victory over Ottawa-Glandorf.
From the opening quarter, the Redskins set the tone. Four-year starter Caleb Moyer escaped pressure and connected with Jarrett Mullen for the game’s first touchdown.
On defense, Wapak held strong, highlighted by Gauge Vaughn’s tackle for loss in the Titans’ backfield.
Moyer continued to shine, finding Ohio commit Kaden Page for a dazzling 38-yard gain that featured a stiff-arm and a tightrope run along the sideline.
Ottawa-Glandorf tried to hold its ground with stops from Will Kuhlman, but Wapak’s offense kept pushing forward.
Mullen later powered across the goal line from just inches out for another score.
With the win, Wapakoneta improves to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in the WBL. The victory marks their 20th straight conference win.
