BLUFFTON (WLIO) — Ottoville advanced to the Division VII regional final with a 52-40 win over Tiffin Calvert at the Sommer Center.
Kate Turnwald and Vanessa Hilvers fueled the early offense with crisp ball movement, while Kendall Schnipke added points in the paint to give the Big Green momentum in the first quarter.
Brooklyn Koester delivered a game-high 24 points, knocking down multiple threes as Ottoville built a six-point halftime lead and controlled the second half. The Big Green will face Stryker on Saturday with a trip to state on the line.
