COLUMBUS GROVE, Ohio (WLIO) — Week 13 of the high school football postseason delivered plenty of excitement, heartbreak and drama, and one moment stood above the rest as the newest K&M Contracting Play of the Week.

The highlight came from Columbus Grove’s regional semifinal matchup against Lima Central Catholic. Facing a fourth-and-two, the T-Birds kept the offense on the field — but the Bulldogs brought the pressure. Gavin Baxter recovered a fumble and sprinted 91 yards the other way for a scoop-and-score, swinging the momentum sharply in Grove’s favor.

Columbus Grove went on to defeat LCC 28–6, advancing to the regional title game for the fourth straight season. The Bulldogs will face Leipsic next week at Shawnee.

Congratulations to Gavin Baxter on earning this week’s Play of the Week honor.
