LIMA, Ohio - Van Wert kept its season alive Monday, defeating Bath 3-1 in the elimination bracket of the ACME District 5 Tournament.

Zander Coleman broke the scoreless tie with a two-run single in the fourth, and Zach Scott added an insurance run in the sixth by scoring on a wild pitch. Easton Putman struck out the final two batters with the tying runs on base to seal the victory.

Van Wert advances to face Elida on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Ed Sandy Field.
