LIMA (WLIO) — The latest Ohio boys basketball state rankings were released, featuring the Top 25 teams in each division and plenty of movement involving local programs.

In Division II, Lima Senior slipped from second to fifth after having two games postponed last week.

Division III saw Wapakoneta fall to 18th following losses to Van Wert and St. Henry, while Shawnee checked in at No. 20.

Division IV featured one of the biggest climbs. Van Wert, ranked 14th two weeks ago, surged to No. 5. Ottawa-Glandorf landed at No. 23.

In Division V, Versailles sits ninth, with Indian Lake right behind at 10th. Paulding, now 13-3 on the season, is ranked 14th.

Division VI remains crowded with local contenders. Marion Local held onto the top spot at No. 1, entering the week at 12-1. St. Henry is ranked third and is set to face Marion Local on Friday night. Lincolnview comes in fourth and will take on St. John’s on Saturday.

Lima Central Catholic is ranked 10th, while Spencerville moved to 11th after nearly handing St. John’s its first loss of the season. Columbus Grove is 18th, followed by New Bremen at 21, Crestview at 22, Patrick Henry at 23, and Wayne Trace rounding out the division at No. 25.

In Division VII, St. John’s remains the clear No. 1 at 15-0 and is ranked fifth in the state regardless of division. Botkins holds steady at No. 2 with an 11-2 record, while Arlington continued its rise to No. 5. Minster is ranked sixth, Miller City eighth, and Lehman Catholic stayed at 11th. Jackson Center dropped to 19th, and Russia entered the rankings at No. 24 with an 8-8 mark.
