LIMA, OH (WLIO) - There's only one week left to load up the car and take the family to see some of the best Christmas lights in Allen County.
This Wednesday through Sunday are the last five days to visit the Mercy Health Bright Nights drive thru at the Allen County Fairgrounds. It takes about 20 minutes to cruise through and see over 200 displays funded by local businesses and community members.
With all of the festive and animated displays, and the special Christmas music radio broadcast for the drive thru, it's one of the most merry places to spend an evening.
"It's a big family event, generations of all ages come out. And the joy, the smile, the cheer, that it brings to the families is great. There's been several cars that drove through twice. They drive through once and they want to see what it's like again, so they come back through to see what they missed the first time," said Brock Ackerman, who serves on the Allen County Fair Board of Directors.
Entry is $10 per car and $30 per bus, cash only. The display will be open from 6 pm this Wednesday through Sunday, Christmas Eve.
