LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — With the success of his first Coffee with a Cop as chief, Lima Police Chief Curtis Hile says, let's do it again.
The Lima Police Department will hold its second Coffee with a Cop on Thursday, Aug. 27, at Our Town Roast in Lima's Town Square.
Hile says the response to the first event was so good that he wants to keep the momentum going. He is asking residents to come out, express their concerns, hear from the chief and learn how the community can move the city forward together.
“The partnerships and the collaboration that continues to move our city forward. Events like this, when people come out, we get an opportunity to be together. It shows the community and it shows the surrounding area that Lima is working together and we're going to move things forward better together,” said Chief Curtis Hile of the Lima Police Department.
The Lima Police Department's Coffee with a Cop will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. at Our Town Roast, located at 74 Town Square.
Weather permitting, Hile says the department may also bring out its new drone first responder equipment.
