LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — The Lima Family YMCA is preparing for one of its most anticipated family events of the year, the Mother Son Super Hero Party.
The event has become a favorite for families, similar in popularity to the YMCA’s annual Daddy Daughter Dance. Mothers and their sons are encouraged to dress as their favorite superheroes and enjoy an evening of fun and bonding.
The party will be held Saturday, May 2, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the YMCA. Admission is free for members, while non-members can attend for $10. Organizers say the event tends to fill up quickly and encourage families to register in advance either online or in person at the YMCA.
