LIMA, OH (WLIO) - If you are an avid reader, the Lima Public Library is where you need to be.
Starting on Friday and running through Saturday, their book sale will be happening in the basement. You can choose from hardback and paperback books to framed art and other items from their collection. These are all items that have not been checked out very often and they are making way for some new additions to the shelves.
"Every once in awhile we have to go through the collection and we have to remove the books that just aren't going out. We also get a lot of donations from people and any books we can't add to the collection we keep. And then when we have enough built up, both that we've weeded from the collection and that we have donated, we can have awesome book sales like this for the community," explained Liz Winhover, director of youth services at the Lima Public Library.
The sale will be held during their normal operating hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The Lima Public Library is located at 650 W Market St, Lima, OH 45801.
