The 36-year-old Lima man who confessed to a murder that happened over 15 years ago changed his plea before an Allen County Judge today.
David Evans plead guilty to one count of voluntary manslaughter with a gun specification, he could be looking at anywhere from 3-11 years in prison and up to 20-thousand dollars in fines.
Back in September, Evans turned himself in and confessed to a Lima detective that he shot and killed 69 year old Cardell "Bob' Beachum on July 2nd of 2001. The sentencing date has been set for April 27th at 8 a.m.
