
PERRY TOWNSHIP, OH (WLIO) - A domestic dispute led to a stabbing in Perry Township on Monday afternoon.
According to the Allen County Sheriff's officials, 19-year-old Anthoney Zeisloft is in jail on the charge of felonious assault.
Just before 1:30 p.m. on Monday, deputies were called out to the 1800 block of Lennox Avenue for reports of a stabbing. The victim was transported to the hospital before they got there. Deputies and detectives were given Zeisloft's description and they quickly picked him up about 10 minutes later.
The victim was treated and released from the hospital. Zeisloft was also treated for minor injuries he got during the altercation. He is awaiting his arraignment on the charge.
May 14, 2024, Press Release from the Allen County Sheriff's Office: On Monday, May 13, 2024, at 1:24 p.m., Allen County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the 1800 block of Lennox Avenue in Lima for a stabbing. When deputies arrived on scene, the victim was already en route to the hospital. A description of the suspect was received, and a short manhunt ensued. At 1:35 p.m., Allen County Sheriff’s Office deputies and detectives captured the suspect and took him into custody. The suspect, Anthoney L. J. Zeisloft (DOB 12/25/2004) of Lima, was booked into the Allen County Jail for felonious assault. Zeisloft was treated at the hospital for minor injuries he obtained while involved in the altercation he was fleeing from. The victim was also treated and released. This incident is believed to have begun as a domestic dispute and remains under investigation.
Zeisloft was apprehended in under 10 minutes. We’d like to thank Allen County deputies and detectives for their swift and diligent response in capturing Zeisloft.
