LIMA, OH (WLIO) - It has been a place of entertainment for nearly a century, and it now needs your help to continue bringing great performances to the area.
The Encore Theatre is still in need of a new roof. They have been fundraising but are still a ways from their goal. A new roof has been quoted at $120,000. They do have an anonymous matching grant for $25,000, but they are coming up short of meeting that offer.
"That is a pretty big figure. We are a non-profit, and we're very proud of that. But just like all our efforts, this has to be a community effort, so we're hoping we can band together. We do have some really exciting fundraising opportunities coming up that the theatre is working on," said Sarah Glover, Encore board trustee.
