New scholarship honoring the legacy of David Adams will help send kids to art camp

David Adams was one of Lima's biggest cheerleaders, and his love for cartooning connected the city with not only its residents but visitors as well.

January 15, 2025, Press Release from ArtSpace/Lima: ArtSpace/Lima will present an evening of poetry under the direction of Lima’s Poet Laureate, Laurin Wolf, on Thursday, January 23. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., reading starts at 6:30 p.m. The event will celebrate the work of David Adams and is centered around a book annotated by him called, “Good Poems for Hard Times.”

Guest readers will be on hand to read their own work and the work of Dr. Adams.

The event is free and open to the public and will take place at 65 Town Square.

Doors will open at 6:00pm and readings will begin at 6:30 p.m.
