COLUMBUS, OH (WLIO) - Governor Mike DeWine is expected to talk about Ohio's accomplishments and lay out the state's future in tomorrow's State of the State address. He will be speaking at noon from the Ohio Statehouse.
Since 2023 was a budget year, last year's address featured a lot of funding requests, including investments in infrastructure to help grow current companies and lure new businesses to the Buckeye State. He also talked about investments in career tech programs across the state to train the next generation of workers. DeWine also stressed the importance of improving mental health services in Ohio.
Not much has been said about this year's address or if he will talk about the general assembly approving funding to support victims of the March 14th tornado. The address can be seen at ohiochannel.org.
