LIMA, OH (WLIO) - A Lima native and author returned home on Saturday to share his latest work with the community.
Family, friends, and the public met at the shop Rescued Vintage to show their support for Lima Central Catholic class of '86 Robert Hunt, who recently published his 3rd book since 2023. Copies of all three works were available for signing, and Hunt read an excerpt from his newest title, "Saint Leslie and the Martyr's Wall." He hopes to show others that becoming a published author is a much more achievable goal than they think.
"You know, for anybody who's thinking about it, the landscape has changed a lot. It's very easy now for people to get their work out there and to sell it for a minimal amount of investment. Just keep at it, believe in what you're doing, share your work, and get some feedback on it. But believe in your worth," Hunt explained.
His latest novel is a comedic and satirical dual-narrative, following the stories of both the main character and the book he's writing. You can learn more about Hunt and all three of his books on his website.
