Van Wert County Sheriff Thomas Riggenbach announced the arrest of four people from Ohio City on drug related charges.
The arrests came after sheriff's deputies shut down meth labs on Koch Road. Four individuals are in custody at the Van Wert County Correctional Facility.
41-year-old Thomas Buckner Jr. and 63-year-old Dan Swoveland from Ohio City were both arrested on illegal manufacture of drugs charges. 36-year-old Jessica Garrett and 18-year-old Reanne Jordan from Ohio City were both also arrested on illegal manufacture of drug charges.
Sheriff says they found a child in one of the residence but the Van Wert County Children Services was contacted and they now have full custody of the child. An agent with Ohio BCI from Attorney General, Mike DeWine's Office was also present at the scene. The agent assisted in rendering all three labs safe and removed the hazardous waste for disposal.
