LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Allen County Commissioners moving forward on the plans for a new administration building.
They are advertising to receive qualifications for design professional services for the building that will house non-judicial county offices. The property is currently owned by the Allen County Port Authority. ARPA funds will be used to fund the projects and the design professional will take all the county's needs for the space into account to see what is needed for the project.
"And that would be, you know, a location for this, will it work? That's going to be one of the primary requests of the criteria architect is, okay, once you've identified what our space needs is, what are our needs, will it work, will it fit at that location?" commented Cory Noonan, Allen County Commissioner.
They also requested design services for a new child support enforcement agency building as well. They are accepting the RFQs until noon on Wednesday, December 16th.
