Allen County Commissioners are advertising to receive qualifications for design professional services for the building that will house non-judicial county offices. The property is currently owned by the Allen County Port Authority. ARPA funds will be used to fund the projects and the design professional will take all the county's needs for the space into account to see what is needed for the project.

Elkfest 2022 at the Lima Elks Lodge kicked off Saturday afternoon with a reverse raffle and went all night with a  performance from the Shifferly Road band for people to enjoy. The money raised from this event will be put back into the community through charity fund set up by the elks.

The Allen County Council on Aging hosting a Medicare update with a staff member from the Ohio Department of Insurance. They encourage seniors to look over their plans to see if it's still the best one for them. They say that there are times things can change and if you don't review your policy it could cost you.
