"I am hoping that we can touch on neighboring counties; we have not gotten Hancock County as yet. And I am hoping that we can expand into Hancock County and also expand the programs that we have currently in our areas. We have schools; we are school-based and community-based, so we would have schools that would reach out to us, and having the manpower, pretty much building our staff, building our team to get out and touch these schools, these areas that we are not touching currently," says Portia Smith, executive director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Central Ohio.

Plus, they are also looking for people to help run some of the school programs in Allen County.

"So, they would need to have, a bachelor's is preferred, but an associate's degree in education or a related field and have experience working with youth. So, a lot of these school-based programs, we have high schoolers that are the mentors for either elementary or middle school kids, and it's an amazing thing to see, not only with the growth of the little but also with the big as they learn to be a mentor," says LeAnn Pryor, program director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Central Ohio.
