5/15/20 Update: The Wes & Linda Bishop Fire Fund has been created at Superior Credit Union. The Bishop’s home on E. State Road was destroyed by fire on May 8th. Everyone got out safely but the family lost everything. If you wish to donate, reach out to your local Superior Credit Union branch.
Your News Now at 10: Everyone walked away safely from a house fire in Monroe Township late Friday afternoon.
First responders were called to the scene on East State Road near Cairo around 5:30 p.m. The owner was in the backyard doing yard work when the fire started. They were able to get the three dogs inside, out safely. No one else was inside, and there were no injuries as a result. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
