June 21, 2024, Press Release from the Ohio Department of Transportation: SIDNEY (Friday, June 21, 2024) - The Ohio Department of Transportation District 7 is seeking public comments regarding the following projects:
LOG-US 33 at SR 274 Intersection Improvements, PID 118109: The Ohio Department of Transportation proposes to convert the U.S. 33 at State Route 274 intersection to a modern roundabout. The project is intended to address conditions that are resulting in a high rate of crashes, particularly injury crashes, at that location. An online presentation is available on the ODOT Project Page for PID 118109. If you have limited computer access, please contact us to request a print version of the presentation. The project is expected to begin in Spring 2026.
MOT-Harshman at Beatrice & Valley, PID 118164: The City of Riverside proposes upgrade signals at the intersections of Harshman Road with Beatrice Drive and Valley Street. The project is intended to improve safety at these intersections. The project will also include infill sidewalk along Harshman Road for improved pedestrian access. The project is expected to begin in May 2026.
