ReStore holds grand reopening ceremony

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore held a grand reopening ceremony to officially welcome the public to their updated space.

The Chamber of Commerce joined the ReStore for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the updates. The store also debuted some new furniture from Target out on the floor.

The building was closed for 10 days back in February while it got a fresh coat of paint, new floors, and some new shelving. A lot of time and work went into fixing things up but in the end, it is a win for the whole community.

"The great thing is that it's a win-win for everybody," says ReStore manager Jim Lewis. "It's for people who are looking to be a part of an organization, to be a part by donating materials. It's a great way for the community to support Habitat by buying things that they might need and then that all goes to build homes for people in need."

To celebrate the Easter holiday, eggs containing candy and discounts were placed around the store.
