An update on an accident that we told you about last Wednesday between a cab and a bus from the Regional Transit Authority.
Despite a witness report to the Lima Police Department that the cab driver pulled in front of the RTA bus at the intersection of Market and Charles streets, the Lima Police Department have completed their investigation in to the crash and they say that the bus actually slid through a red light striking the cab in the side when it was making a turn on to Charles. The roads were slick following snow and sleet that morning and video tape from the bus confirmed the the bus driver was a fault in the crash.
Both the cab and the bus suffered minor damage.
