It's the 6th leading cause of death in the United States and is the only cause of death in the top 10 that cannot be prevented, cured, or slowed.
Those statistics from the Alzheimer's Association about the disease that robs people of their memories. To bring awareness and to raise money to find a cure, the West Central Ohio Walk to End Alzheimer's is set for Saturday, September 8th at the Ohio State Lima Campus. There is still time to sign up to be part of the Walk to End Alzheimer's. Just log on to alz.org and search for the Lima Walk.
