LIMA, OH (WLIO) - An annual tradition of making sure everyone has a warm holiday meal.
The volunteers enjoy giving up some of their time to help with this great tradition.
The West Ohio Food Bank is continuing its holiday tradition of offering free, take-home dinners on Christmas Eve. Volunteers and staff will pass out the meals drive-thru style, just like their monthly food distributions. Cars with families can line up in their back lot and receive one meal for each family member.

"It's one of those days when you're not doing anything and you think, might as well come and help people. It's a good cause, and the packaging has really been fun," said Carol Grim, a volunteer.
"Joy. Joy to know that there's still people in the community that are compassionate about the community and willing to give up their time to help each other," commented Rob Overs, a volunteer.
