Ottoville's Brooklyn Koester wins POTY; Ross Heuerman and Brian Schroeder win Co-COTY

The Putnam County League has announced its girls basketball all-league honors.
Ottoville’s Brooklyn Koester was named the PCL Player of the Year after leading the Big Green throughout the season. Koester was also selected to the first team.
Miller City head coach Pat Huereman and Columbus Grove’s Brian Schroeder were named Co-Coaches of the Year. Schroeder also earned Coach of the Year honors in the Northwest Conference.
Columbus Grove’s Nicole Nesby, the NWC Player of the Year, headlines the All-PCL first team. She is joined by Kalida’s Addilyn Huber, Leipsic freshman Kya Brandt, Koester of Ottoville and Pandora-Gilboa’s Ava Huffman.
Second-team honors went to Columbus Grove’s Kendal Palte. Miller City placed two players on the second team in freshman Sophia Ruck and Anna Lammers. Rounding out the second team are Ottoville’s Kendall Schnipke and Pandora-Gilboa’s Savannah Knueven.
