The Ohio Republican Party chair has been traveling the state to talk to voters about State Issue One. The "No On One" bus tour rolled into Lima this morning to rally Allen County GOP voters to get out and vote. State Issue One was put on by a citizens group to change the process of redistricting map drawing in Ohio from a group of elected state officials to a citizens panel that would be made up of 15 people that would draw the political boundaries for Ohio congressional, State Senate, and State House seats.

Today, October 7, 2024, is the final day to get registered or change your voting information before the November 5th election.
This is a presidential election year, and there is a U.S. senate race that will be on Ohio ballots, along with elections for three Ohio Supreme Court seats. Plus, voters will be asked to decide on who will be drawing the redistricting maps in the future.
Ohio’s Senate President has some concerns about a citizen backed proposed ballot initiative to change the state’s map making process.
