The Allen County Regional Transit Authority is celebrating half a century of serving the Lima area. The public was welcome to an open house to join the RTA in celebrating the big 50th anniversary. Guests could pick up free swag and check out historical displays with photos and articles going back even before they were founded in 1974. People could see past vehicles, staff, and events like bus rodeos and learn about the process of expanding the RTA from just a garage to the current buildings and terminal.
