More than 1,400 YMCAs nationwide will host the free community event on Saturday, April 26, encouraging children and their families to stay active both physically and mentally throughout the year.

Michelle Webken from the Lima Family YMCA says, “We just want to celebrate kids being kids. And them being active and choosing healthy snacks and activities. Just an overall help the with their physical and mental health.”
These kids were not only staying active at the Lima Family YMCA but getting creative as well. They were making masks, making new friends, and having fun with friends they had already met through the no-school day program. The “Y” offers this on major holidays that schools are out of session and the kids are happy their parents sign them up.
