The Allen County Children’s Garden continues to grow and serve the community nearly 30 years after its founding in 1996. The Allen County Master Gardeners kicked off their Summer Brown Bag Series with a presentation on the garden’s history and announced a free butterfly release celebration scheduled for Sept. 13.
“Our Impact Day is a day that all firms across Ohio get together and we go and volunteer somewhere locally, and just to, you know, show that we're involved in our community and how much we care, and to just get our name out there,” said Cheyenne Skinner, an accounting specialist with Rea & Associates.
