Allen County commissioners met with the Lima Kiwanis Club Tuesday to discuss county projects, finances and community initiatives during a public question-and-answer session. The club also announced the creation of the Robert Day Service Leadership Award to honor students involved in its leadership programs.

Allen County officials say the county remains financially stable as negotiations with the Sheriff’s Office union delay completion of the 2026 budget.
