They have dedicated their lives to a career they love by building the agriculture industry in Allen County. Randy Jones, Gary and Laura Luginbill, Joe Schmersal, and the late Todd Schaub are being inducted into the 2024 Allen County Agriculture Hall of Fame. Sponsored by Nutrien and the Lima Allen County Chamber, the honor recognizes them for the instrumental roles they played in the success of agriculture in the county.

This year, the fair board decided to hold the auction a little differently. Normally, money is received based on the weight of the animal. This year was a “premium” auction, to give exhibitors a chance to earn some extra cash for their hard work.
