Following some inspections, officials are taking their time before moving into the new Allen County Juvenile Detention Center. Working with what you have is what the Allen County Juvenile Court is doing. Each year it's a waiting game for the court to see how much funding they will get from the state from its Reclaim program through the Ohio Department of Youth Services. This year it's nearly $200,000 less. The funding is based on "Bed Day" credits. The more youth that the juvenile court commits to state facilities the fewer credits they receive.
