You might have heard the grills sizzling, seen the cotton candy swirling, or perhaps petted a fellow canine in Downtown Lima Tuesday Evening! Governor Mike DeWine says that he will be holding a State of State address in 2022. The first and last State of the State that the governor had was in 2019 and he decided to not hold the annual address the past two years because of the pandemic. DeWine did address state issues at the over 160 Coronovirus briefing that he held over the last 22 months. DeWine also promised to hold the State of the State speeches in Columbus, stopping the trend that his predecessor John Kasich did of moving the address to different locations around the state including Lima. There is no date yet when DeWine will be holding his State of the State address.
