The event was held by the Bath High School Interact Club as part of their mission to promote driver safety programs. Club members greeted students as they arrived at school to check if they were wearing seatbelts. A free McDonald's McFlurry coupon was handed to each student who arrived with their seatbelt fastened as a reward for complying with the law. Those who were found driving unrestrained were issued a fake ticket citation.

Students from Bath High School's Interact Club were recognized at the Lima Rotary Club meeting on Monday afternoon. The students were given patches and pins after completing their required hours of service for the club.
The Lima Rotary Club began reaching out to the special needs community back in 1917, and began holding the Christmas party shortly after. This tradition is held strong to this day, but just like anything else during this pandemic, it looks a little different this year.
