Retired WNBA coach Dan Hughes was the keynote speaker for Bluffton University's annual Athletic Awards Forum. Hughes was head coach of the Seattle Storm when they won the WNBA championship in 2018. He was also an assistant coach for the USA's gold-winning women's basketball team in this past summer's Olympics in Tokyo. Hughes shares his thoughts about how the students can empower themselves, and the people and communities around them.

Honda opened up their state-of-the-art wind tunnel facility at the Transportation Research Center in East Liberty. The $124 million facility will be able to test three separate functions, aerodynamics, aeroacoustics, and racing at one location. The tunnel can reach wind speeds up to 190 mph.

They are understaffed and seeing more people seeking assistance with the effects of the pandemic. Currently, they are behind on Winter Crisis, “PIPP” reverifications, regular “HEAP” and rent assistance. They do ask that those applying to follow the process to register.
