Testimony continued in the jury trial of a Lima man accused of robbing a bank 2022. 38-year-old Brandon Allen, Sr. is facing an aggravated robbery charge and repeat violent offender specification after police say on March 8th of 2022, a bank robber handed the teller at the Union Bank on Bellefontaine Ave. a note demanding money. He got away with more than $3,000 dollars in cash.
A Lima man facing a robbery charge has been arraigned in Lima Municipal Court. Brandon Allen Sr. is facing a felony two charge of robbery. He is accused of robbing Union Bank located at 1410 Bellefontaine Avenue on March 8th. A bond has been set in his case at $200,000 cash surety. Just before 10:00 AM Tuesday morning, police responded to the Union Bank at 1410 Bellefontaine Avenue.
The police department not yet releasing many details, but they were on scene behind a home on Lima's east side, around 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. Police at the location just off of Bellefontaine Avenue reportedly searching for a suspect in an alleged bank robbery on Lima's east side earlier in the day.
