ELIDA, OH (WLIO) - Local bikers got to show off their rides and support a good cause on Saturday. 

Spring is just around the corner, and following a winter with winter storms, cars start to buildup salt, which could lead to rust on the undercarriage of cars, and potentially shortening the life of car parts. With the improved weather conditions, people were out in full force at the WhiteWater Express Car Wash. 

Misfortune has struck the Lima business, Bruster’s Car Wash, once again, after break-ins occurred at two different locations within two hours of each other.

The owners of Bruster’s were able to provide us with security footage of what happened.

According to the Lima Police Department, two suspects approached the Bellefontaine Avenue location on foot from the railroad tracks, around 11:40 Monday night. They were able to remove a back window, take the money inside and made off with an undisclosed amount.

The Primrose Retirement Community is offering older adults the chance to become better adjusted in their cars with a car check event. 

With the warm weather today, more people have seem to been making their way to the car wash.
