The Primrose Retirement Community is offering older adults the chance to become better adjusted in their cars with a car check event.
Primrose will be holding a complimentary car wash Tuesday, July 31st for area adults 55 and older. AAA will also be on site to run their "Car Fit" checks. It's a national program run with AARP and the American Occupational Therapy Association, designed to check different parts of the car to be sure that the older driver and the car can work together. Giving older adults the chance to feel comfortable in their vehicles was something that Primrose wanted to offer.
The complimentary car wash and Car Fit event will be held next Tuesday from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Primrose Retirement Community located at 3500 West Elm Street.
