Locos erupt in seventh to beat Xenia and improve to 10-2

LIMA, Ohio - The first-place Lima Locos scored five runs in the seventh inning to rally past the Xenia Scouts 5-2 in the opener of a three-game GLSCL series at Simmons Field.
Callaghan O'Connor turned in seven strong innings with six strikeouts, keeping Lima within a run before the offense came alive. Avery Wilson tied the game with a sacrifice fly, and Jimmy Dionne cleared the bases with a three-run double to put the Locos ahead. Grant McGuire added an RBI single later in the inning.
The victory improved Lima to 10-2 on the season and kept the Locos atop the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League standings.
