LIMA, Ohio - The Lima Locos completed a doubleheader sweep of the Grand Lake Mariners on Wednesday, rallying for a 7-4 victory in the resumed opener before winning the scheduled seven-inning nightcap 5-1.

The first game resumed with Grand Lake leading 4-3 in the eighth inning, but Russia graduate Braylon Cordonnier delivered a go-ahead two-run single with the bases loaded. Tyler VanSumeren followed with a two-run hit as the Locos scored four times in the inning to erase the deficit.

Lima then took the second game 5-1 to improve to 9-2, moving past the Mariners for sole possession of first place in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League.
