LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — A jury trial date has been set for a Lima man facing 95 sex-related charges.
Christopher Duran, 50, is scheduled to stand trial Oct. 26 in Allen County Common Pleas Court. Duran pleaded not guilty in April to 42 counts of rape, 36 counts of sexual battery, 12 counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor, six counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material and one count of robbery.
According to the indictment, the alleged offenses occurred between 2014 and 2022 and involved one or more victims who were younger than 13 at the time. Duran remains in the Allen County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
