PANDORA (WLIO) ... The Pandora-Gilboa Rockets enter the 2026 season looking to build on last year's 9-4 campaign that ended with a third-place finish in the Blanchard Valley Conference.
Head coach Matt Hershey begins his 10th season at the helm and returns 10 lettermen, but the Rockets will have to replace four-year starting quarterback Cory Gerten. Senior Brady Deleruyelle is expected to take over after spending the past two seasons at Findlay, where he competed in both football and hockey.
Pandora-Gilboa opens the season against Putnam County rival Columbus Grove for the sixth straight year before facing Leipsic in Week 5, a rematch of last season's playoff meeting.
Hershey says the identity of the 2026 Rockets will be built around their physicality as they look to make another postseason run.
