Allen County Children Services celebrated its 80th anniversary during the 28th annual Community for Kids Luncheon, honoring individuals and groups dedicated to protecting children. Community leaders emphasized the importance of collaboration and local support in ensuring the safety and well-being of youth.
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month in Ohio, and Allen County Children Services is working to “paint the town blue.”
In 2024, Allen County Children Services served one out of every 13 children in the county. That is why the agency wants to spotlight the good work being done to help vulnerable children.
