A local organization is striving to provide area residents of all ages with a music education by expanding their team of music teachers. The Lima Music Academy, a faith-based non-profit music school founded in 2022, is currently searching for people who can teach a variety of musical instruments like the guitar, saxophone, trumpet, drums, piano, and even vocal instruction.

A 2017 International semi, operated by David Jackson, age 65, of Elida, Ohio, was traveling northbound on Interstate 75. Mr. Jackson traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck the Bible Road overpass. Mr. Jackson succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
